What is it?
Basically its your own space. You select what members can view and reply to your threads - On your own board called YOUR SPACE - MEMBER NAME.
Why did we decide to offer YS?
We really saw a need to provide even more privacy on issues that members didnt want just anyone to read. That privacy wasnt based on post count or a financial membership. That people got to pick who was on the board. So YS was born and has been a huges success.
How much is YS?
Your Space is $10pm however if you have made a one off donation of $50 or more we have reduced the cost by half so it is only $5 per month (we prefer payment bi-monthly)no longer available at discounted price offer has expired as at 29 Sep 2008
This is the ONLY area that requires payment and that is due to it being a custom area and requires set up and maintenance.
How does YS work?
You subscribe online with one of our payment buttons and then send your list of members you would like to have access. Admin then sets up your membergroup and board.
Can people see I have a YS?
No!!!! Unless someone is on your list they wont even be aware the board exists. It wont even show up to them. You can test this by logging out and seeing what areas dissapear when you view the forum as a guest. So only YOU and your friends even know its part of the board. Just like the post count areas that dont become available till say 100 posts. For people under that they dont see the board exists. They dont see the posts come up in unreads or see the subject. They dont see a post has even been made.
Who can use YS?
As a courtesy Your Space is for threads started by YOU and only you. They can be replied by your friends but its not a space for your friends to post their own issues. It is Your Space and its ALL ABOUT YOU!!!!

It's a place I can "talk" about anything I wouldn't normally do (online) it might be "sensitive" it might be "personal" it may just be something I want to share but not with the entire world...and be sure that I will get some good feedback from friends...only those I WANT to read it do, so that's a definite +++ - Anon
I like the fact that if I need to talk about more personal sensitive issues that I have a place where I can feel safe. - Anon
I like that it is so private, that I know exactly who is reading my threads. There have been times that I have held back from posting things on EF, because I have not felt comfortable with having things 'out there'. Having the myspace means I can post private thoughts, pics, and things relating to my family without worrying that a family member might see it. It's great! - Anon

I like to keep my identity hidden to a certain extent. There are some details that I hold back on posting in public areas because it would give me away, I like usuing Your Space for posts where I need to expose that kind of information in order to explain myself, or gain advice from my friends. - Anon

I like the anonymity that My Space provides. I feel much more secure being able to guarantee that I do know each and every person that is able to view my posts. Sometimes information is a little sensitive and My Space removes the worry of identification.

I am really noticing that these areas are just so much more real. That people post photos talk about their kids names and other stuff that is just so special and normally not done on an open forum.  |

If you sign soon its permanently $5 per month!  Please note this is for Paypal subscriptions only. The bank fee's are an expense we are going to have to cut out very soon as it has cost us more to have the account in fee's then subscription or donations going through the account. |
